29 People Have Been Killed in a Stampede in the Capital of Liberia

January 19, a stampede occurred in a small town of Monrovia, the capital of Liberia, which 29 people has killed and caused lots of injured people.


January 20,  Moses Carter, the spokesman of Liberian National Police Bureau, said at the news conference that a gang of thugs with knifes broke into a religious activity held in new Kru town of Monrovia on the evening of 19, attacked the people and caused chaos,  leading to a stampede. At present, 29 people have been killed and many people have been injured.
